Chinese company launches Urdu Mobile App

ISLAMABAD: A Chinese company has launched an Urdu Mobile App in Islamabad on Wednesday.


Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid was the chief guest at the launching ceremony.

In his speech, he said twenty-five million people use mobile phones in Pakistan and the service would help bring people of the two countries still closer.

The Minister said better understanding between people of the two countries is a guarantee of strong relationship.

It may be recalled that Director General Xinjiang Information Office Luo Fuyong visited Radio Pakistan in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said people will get latest information in Urdu and the facility will be available to people free of cost.

He said the service will strengthen relations between the two countries in diverse fields including trade, commerce and culture.
