Photography is the beautiful art of capturing the moments so that one gets to relive them again. We see so many people around us who want to capture every moment with the eye of camera. Though, human brain too has the ability to hold the beautiful moments together that serves as a reminiscent in their later life. But with the advancement of technology, people have found a way to witness those moments, whenever they feel like, with their eyes.

As human beings, we have the strange habit to cherish the moments that were once enjoyed for forever. People often tend to capture the events they enjoyed. The event maybe the birthday of their loved ones, an intimate ceremony where two hearts unite, a graduation ceremony, or a ceremony where one receives honor for their achievement. No matter what the occasion is, it can always be saved with the eye of camera.

Life is a blessing of Allah upon us. In our lives, we come across numerous situations where we want to celebrate. And with the advancement of technology, everyone is bestowed with the blessing to hold these precious life moments with themselves. All you have to do is to take out your camera and snap. With photography, you give life to the moments that cannot be captured by words.

God have made this world beautiful and photography and human eyes are the witness to it. Where ever we go, we find the beautiful colors spilled in perfection to decorate the surroundings. Human beings are created in a way that they enjoy being surrounded by beautiful things. In fact, the beauty of nature is what gives rise to the budding poets and writers in a country. As a matter of fact, there is enormous amount of poetry written depicting and appreciating the beauty of life and nature.

Why is world photography day celebrated?

World photography day is made to celebrate the art, science, and history of photography. The aim behind celebrating this day is to encourage people who want to pursue their career in photography. It is made on 19th of August to pay tribute to the art of photography.

The very origin of the world photography day lies in the invention of the ‘daguerreotype’. Daguerreotype, a photographic process, was developed by Frenchmen Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicephore Niepce. After seven months of invention of this process, French government allowed that it is a gift to the world.

And indeed, the process of photography is the gift to humankind. It allows you to see the people you love again and again. Photography also play its role to connect the heart of two peoples. Consider arrange marriages, the bride and groom are shown each other’s photograph to know about their like and dislike of the other person.

Social media serves as a platform where people share their photographs with each other. Every profile that you may visit on social media, hundreds of photographs are uploaded by the people to share the moments they cherish with other people, to share their happiness with other people. The very act of indulging in photography is like having a love affair with your life.

To sum up, photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving what you have caught on film is captured forever. It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
