Apple’s smart wearable has been here for a while now, however, it hasn’t been able to get much traction with smartphone users mainly owing to its limited functionality.
While some questioned the purpose of the Apple Watch, it seems we finally may have an answer. Former Apple engineer Shawn Grening has developed a new camera band called CMRA which allows users to take selfies and record HD videos.
The band has two cameras and both, the front facing 8 megapixel and self-facing 2 megapixel camera, save pictures and videos to an 8GB storage space on the band. The band allows up to 30 minutes of video to be saved.
Creators of this innovative band have also come up with a new charging dock that can charge both the device and the band simultaneously.
