South Africa set 192 runs target for Indian team. India chased the target on loss of two wickets with 72 balls remaining.
Opener Shikhar Dhawan scored 78 runs on 83 balls. Skipper Virat Kohli smashed unbeaten 76 runs on 101 balls.
Morkel and Imran Tahir took one wicket each.
Earlier, India won the toss and elected to field first.
Q de Kock was the highest scorer from Proteas side by scoring 53 runs on 72 balls. F du Plessis smashed 36 runs. While, Hashim Amla scored 35 runs.
