CT 17: Pakistan restrict Sri Lanka to 236 runs

CARDIFF: Pakistan has restricted Sri Lanka to 236 runs in a virtual Quarter Final of International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy 2017 being played here at Sophia Gardens on Monday.


Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and opted to field first.

Dickwella was the top scorer from Lankan side by smashing 73 runs in 86 balls. Mathews scored 39 runs.

Junaid Khan and Hassan Ali bagged three wickets. Mohammad Amir and Fahim Ashraf took two wickets each.

Today’s winner will qualify for the semi- final of the event. India has already qualified from this group for semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy.
