CT 17: Pakistan win toss, opt to field first against England in first semi-final

CARDIFF: Pakistan on Wednesday won the toss against England in a First semi-final of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 being played here at Sophia Gardens.


Muhammad Amir, who developed a back injury during practice session yesterday will not be playing the match. Rumman Raees will serve as Amir’s replacement in the all-important match.

Shadab Khan is also replacing Faheem Ashraf for today’s match.

Morgan’s side is sporting one change from its match against Australia as Jonny Bairstow replaces Jason Roy.

The match is expected to go ahead uninterrupted with only a slim chance of rain later in the day.
