Disappointed Ajmal given guard of honour in his last outing

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan spin maestro Saeed Ajmal has officially bid farewell to cricket after his team Faisalabad lost the semi-final in the ongoing National T20 Cup.

Saeed Ajmal, was one of the most difficult bowlers to face in modern day cricket, and perhaps one of the most innovative one as well.

He had announced his retirement from all forms of cricket earlier this month and had cleared that he would stop playing cricket after the conclusion of the T20 tournament. However, his teammates cannot provide a fairytale ending to his career and lost the semi-final against Lahore Whites.

Addressing the media, Ajmal once again questioned the International Cricket Council, over its bowling action ruling. “I believe that only 10 percent of the bowlers could clear the protocol set by ICC regarding the clearance of bowling action,” stated Ajmal.

Ajmal received a guard of honour from both sides, for his contribution to the game.
