LONDON: ICC has charged English fast bowler James Anderson under Level 3 of the ICC Code of Conduct for behaving badly with Indian spin bowler Ravendra Jadega.
The allegation relates to an incident involving India’s Ravindra Jadeja in the time of the inaugural trial match among the teams that ended in a draw on Sunday. On Tuesday, The England and Wales Cricket Board stated that it would contest misconduct accusations opposed Anderson made by India.
Anderson was accused of pushing the Indian bowler in the time of the spurt. A judicial commission will now probe the allegations. If the charges are proved, Anderson might face ban for two to four Test matches or four ODIs.
Anderson categorically denied the charges made opposed to him on the other side while the ECB has pledged their total support for the actor.
