PORT OF SPAIN: Pakistani bowlers restricted West Indies batsmen to 124 -8 in the 20 overs in the fourth and final Twenty20 International here at the Queen’s Park Oval on Sunday.
Sent into bat by Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed, West Indies batsmen could not resist against accurate bowling by young Pakistani bowlers, especially against right-arm pacer Hasan Ali and leg-spinner Shadab Khan, who claimed two wickets each for 12 and 16 runs, respectively.
Among other bowlers, Rumman Raees, Imad Wasim and Wahab Riaz took one wicket each.
Opener Chadwick Walton top scored with 40 with four sixes and two fours while captain Carlos Brathwaite scored an unbeaten 37 with two sixes and as many fours.
Pakistan made only one change bringing in Rumman Raees in place of Sohail Tanvir while West Indies are unchanged.
Pakistan must win this match if they want to take the series trophy back home.
