PCB dissolves after losing eight GB members cutting short Ashraf’s third comeback

Reinstated Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf’s come back for the third time has reportedly been cut short to just a day as the body currently stands dissolved after losing eight of the 10 Governing Board (GB) members.

The PCB currently stands dissolved after the Islamabad Regional Cricket Association (IRCA) president Shakil Sheikh resigned on Sunday to take the total to eight after seven of the GB members had already polished off their term of office with the PCB earlier.

According to The Express Tribune, the PCB Patron, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, is likely to levy an ad-has set-up and is likewise likely to herald a new chairman of the PCB.

The Islamabad High Court had restored Ashraf as the PCB chairman after after a decision from Justice Noorul Haq Qureshi in favor of a PPP politician on Saturday, the story added.
