The MC members have unanimously endorsed Sethi’s request to the IPC ministry to proclaim the new democratic PCB constitution at the earliest and subsequently take the elections without delay, decided the MC after their meeting in Lahore.

The management committee took note of the outstanding arrears of about 20 million rupees detailed in the national audit report for the period Ashraf was chairman, the statement said, adding the commission would seek to retrieve the amount.

Subsequently a new national government took office in 2013, Ashraf fell out of favor. He lost his place for a third time after a Supreme Court order last week, which restored Sethi, an appointment of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

We wrote to Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) as shortly as we learn about their president’s views. I think we have to visibly improve the security state of affairs before any major international team can take on our invitation.

The MC meeting is in contempt of the motor lodge as the SC has issued a stay order and his lawyers will file a case opposed to Sethi.

International cricket teams refusing to work in Pakistan since an approach along the Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore in 2009, the PCB has been hard pressed for income.

It’s in disrespect of the courtroom to call an MC meeting and my lawyers will file a lawsuit opposed to it, stated Ashraf. I’m prepared to fight the case one on one opposed to Sethi.
