Web Desk: All-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi has confirmed on Saturday to feature in ICC World XI’s charity match against West Indies on My 31.
Veteran cricket took to social media platform and tweeted that: “I will be playing ICC World XI vs WestIndies match as I feel strongly to support this as a cricketer & Muslim.”
“My Allah recommends to help people in need with all the power I have,” he added.

Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and Sri Lanka’s Thisara Perera were among the first set of players to confirm their participation for the ICC World XI in a T20I against the Windies last month.
The T20I to help affectees of hurricanes Irma and Maria will be played between the ICC World XI and the West Indies at the Lord’s on May 31.
