DUBAI: Sunil Narine once again reported for suspect Bowling action during the match between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United in the third edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Thursday.
Narine, who represents Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, has been placed on the PSL’s watch list, but can continue to play the tournament unless reported again.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will now pass the suspected bowling action report to Cricket West Indies (CWI).
“Mr Narine has now been placed on the warning list and may continue to be selected to play and bowl for his team in the PSL,” the PCB said in a statement.
The West Indies offspinner action had been reported several times in past. He was reported twice during the Champions League T20 in 2014, and missed the final.
He returned to international duty in November 2015, only to be reported once again during his first series back – limited-overs games against Sri Lanka. Narine was cleared to bowl again ahead of IPL 2016.
