Dubai: Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed on Friday has said batting was the reason for Gladiator’s 19-runs defeat to Karachi kings in the third game of the PSL being played here.
Speaking to NewsOne, Sarfraz said the batting let his team down although the bowlers made a good comeback during the ending overs.
“We did well with bowling in the end but batting didn’t do well. We played too many dot balls especially in the first six overs, which brought us under pressure and led to our defeat,” Sarfraz highlighted.
On a question about game strategy in next game Sarfraz said he and his team would try to not repeat the mistakes which committed in this game. He was optimistic to come back stronger in next game of the PSL.
