KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal on Monday while addressing the media criticised Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the party head and stated that the Muttahida quaid wanted bloodshed, adding that the MQM head started propaganda against PSP ever since he (Kamal) and Anees Qaimkhani returned back to the country.
Kamal said that no strike shall take place this time on MQM’s call, further stating that MQM chief had no concerns regarding the safety of the lives of the party workers. He stated that MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar used to tell media whatever was given to him on a piece of paper.
He stated that his party intended to show the right path to those who had gone astray. He stated that peace cannot be established by killing the missing workers of the party and also called for the rehabilitation of the misguided youth.
Kamal said that if suicide bombers could be reverted to the right path then so could misguided MQM workers be as well.
PSP Chairman said that the party leaders took the list of the missing workers to the Rangers Director General (DG) Major General Bilal Akbar as well. Kamal said that the missing workers need to be given another opportunity as the workers were misguided and did not intend to do something negative.
He further stated that the mandate provided by the public to MQM was kept at pledge in order to avoid investigation of the Amir Khan murder case.
All workers cannot be killed, there needs to be a change of heart, Kamal said, further stating that MQM killed the one person belonging to the party who had leadership skills.
He said that the Muttahida quaid never let a single leader of the party hold the party s reigns. He said that thousands of individuals were joining the party on daily basis.
Kamal said that MQM s head and other party leaders including Nadeem Nusrat and Mohammad Anwar were part of Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
He stated that the allegation of the murder of qawalli singer Amjad Sabri leveled by MQM on PSP backfired on Muttahida as people rejected the accusations.
Criticising MQM leader Amir Khan, Kamal said that Khan first made himself appear as if he was a lion but then became a traitor. He further said that only one member of Muttahida was distributing party certificates, adding that the very person who distributed those certificates was corrupt.
PSP leader Anees Qaimkhani also conversed with the media and said that 260 members and leaders of MQM had joined Pak Sarzameen Party.
