BULAWAYO: On Wednesday, Pakistan thrashed Zimbabwe by 9 wickets as the green shirts clinched the series by decisive lead of 3-0 as two other matches to played remained formality.
Earlier batting today, a depleted Zimbabwe were left regretting their decision to bat first as Pakistan pacers tore through their top and middle order, as hosts were bowled out at 67 runs in the third one-day international at Bulawayo on Wednesday.
Faheem Ashraf was leading the bowling attack with four wickets, while Junaid Khan, making his return to the playing XI, claimed two scalps.
Fresh off a nine-wicket win in the second ODI, Pakistan are already 2-0 up in the series, while Zimbabwe continue to struggle with a string of defeats, first in the tri-series and then back-to-back defeats in the first two ODIs against Pakistan.
