Amal Umer case: Hospital negate parent’s stance, says did not refuse treatment

ISLAMABAD: On Thursday, the administration of a private hospital has claimed that it did not refuse treatment to Amal Umer— a 10-year-old who lost her life after being hit by a stray bullet on the eve of Independence Day.

A representative of the National Medical Centre (NMC) and Amal’s parents — Umer and Beenish — were present in court.

Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar heading a three member bench was hearing the case.

However, Amal’s parents maintained their earlier stance that the hospital had refused to treat their child.
