Anti-graft case: Prosecution witnesses record statements against Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday, an accountability court heard a corruption reference against absconder Ishaq Dar pertaining to possessing assets beyond known source of income


As Judge Muhammad Bashir of Accountability Court today resumed hearing the case, the prosecution presented its second witness, Ishtiaq Ahmed, to record their statement.

One more witness Wasif Hussain apprised the court that 11 notifications had been submitted in the case so far.

The court then adjourned the hearing till August 7.

On July 11, the Federal Investigative Agency issued red warrants against ex-finance minister, who is nowadays in London owing to his ill health, seeking Interpol to bring back Ishaq Dar.
