ISLAMABAD: Following verdict in Avenfield Reference on Friday, the National Accountability Bureau(NAB) issued arrest warrants of all three guilty individuals today, Newsone reported.
According to the NAB’s spokesman the arrest warrants have been issued against convicted erstwhile prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain(R) Safdar.
The NAB further added that entire efforts would be made to arrest all the culprits, as on Friday it was reported that NAB had contacted the KP police for the arrest of Captain(R) Safdar.
However, Nawaz vowed to return Pakistan as soon as his ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz’s health condition improves.
He remarked this while giving a press briefing to the media along with his daughter Maryam in his Avenfield apartments in London.
On Friday the Accountability Court sentenced Nawaz to 10 years imprisonment for failing to provide evidence pertaining to the money trail that could establish the legality of Avenfield apartments.
