LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has handed 10-year ban to Nasir Jamshed over breaching of five of the PCB’s anti-corruption codes on Friday.
The anti-corruption tribunal denounced Mr. Jamshed guilty for violating PCB’s anti-corruption code of conduct under Articles 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.1.4 and 2.4.4 during the 2017 edition of Pakistan Super League.
The PCB has also barred Mr. Jamshed from holding any role in cricket management for life.
This is the second time the cricketer bore punishment in the last two years. In December 2017, He was banned for a year by the PCB after an anti-corruption tribunal found him guilty of non-cooperation in the 2017 PSL spot-fixing case.
