Bilawal visits JPMC, inquires about health of injured train passengers

KARACHI: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan People’s Party, on Thursday visited Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre to inquire about the health of injured passengers of train accident.


At least 19 people were killed and more than 50 injured when two passenger trains collided Thursday morning near Karachi’s Landhi Railway Station.

During his visit to JPMC, Bilawal also met Hafiz Naeem Rahman, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi.

Earlier, Bilawal Bilawal expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of 19 passengers and injuries to many others in a tragic Railway accident.

He said that the Railway accidents can be averted with better management of signal systems and technical coordination.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari sympathized with those who lost their family members in the train collision and asked for the best medical treatment to those injured in the mishap.
