Celebrating the valor of the Falcons, 7th September Airforce Day

Special ceremonies are being held at all air bases of Pakistan Air Force to pay homage to the martyrs who laid their lives while protecting the country from enemy in 1965 war.


The Air force day Pakistan started with special prayers and Quran Khawani for the martyrs of 1965 and 1971 wars and those who laid down their lives in line of duty.

Floral wreaths would be laid on the graves of PAF Shuhada throughout the country.

Yesterday, the nation observed Defence Day to pay homage to martyrs of 1965 and 1971 wars with India. Special ceremony was held at GHQ which was attended by COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa, PM Imran Khan and other government officials.

1965 war brought laurels to Pakistan Air Force as our gallant air warriors served as a deterrent to the enemy designs, against heavy odds.

Under the command of Air Marshal Nur Khan, heroes like Squadron Leader Sarfaraz Ahmed Rafiqui and MM. Alam emerged and taught a lesson to the enemy. The memories of air warriors is remembered on the Air force Day Pakistan.
