Firing claims two lives at Lahore airport

LAHORE: Unidentified attackers opened fire at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore claiming two lives, police said on Wednesday.


According to airport officials, Security Forces personnel took the suspects into custody from the airport. Police said the two suspects have been identified as Arshad and Shan.

The firing within the airport lounge caused panic among people.

Police said that the suspects reached the airport in a taxi.

The firing also wounded a man. It was learned that the two deceased victims had returned after performing Umra.

The police officials have said the reason for the firing appears to be personal.
