I take pride over the disqualification of PM involved in money laundering: Imran address in NA

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, who came today in the National Assembly to attend the session related to the tabling of the bill pertaining to KP-FATA merger, said that he takes pride over the disqualification of a prime minister involved in money laundering.


Imran who has a poor record of attendance in the National Assembly was interrupted by the Pakistan Muslim League(Nawaz) leaders during his speech, said that it is his right to stand against rigging in Elections, money laundering scams.

Privatization Minister Daniyal Aziz and Minister for Railways Saad Rafique tried to interrupt cricketer turned politician speech.

On FATA reforms, Imran said that the passing of the bill was historic, adding that if the bill was delayed, it could have spread anarchy in the FATA region.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in his response condemned Imran’s address, saying the former should have avoided from passing statements which could hurt the sentiments of parliamentarians from different political party.

PM Abbasi called upon the parliamentarians to show unity on this historic day and avoid differences.
