Imran to be sworn in as PM by August 18th: PTI’S senator

ISLAMABAD:  On Friday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf senator Faisal Javed here in Islamabad informed the media that  designated prime minister Imran Khan is expected to take oath by 18th August which is falling on next Saturday.

The PTI emerged victorious  after claiming majority in recent election with 116 seats in the National Assembly

Earlier today, President Mamnoon has signed the summary of the interim Prime Minister Justice (R) Nasir-ul-Mulk to call the first session of the newly elected Parliament by August 13th in which the newly elected Parliamentarians will take oaths of their offices.

Elections for Speaker, Deputy Speaker and leader of the house will be conducted after the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected members.

On the other hands the opposition alliance against anti PTI parties had already decided that they will be bringing their own candidates for PM, Speaker and Deputy speaker in the National Assembly.
