In a welcoming move Army offers job to a handicapped voter after her video went viral

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Maj. Gen. Qamar Bajwa has offered job to Fajar in Pakistan Army, a handicapped woman who turned out to cast her vote on 25th July General Polls, after taking consideration of her video went viral on Social Media.


While being interviewed by the media, she expressed her dismay over  injustice prevailing in the society and said, “ I came here to get the justice with the power of vote”, with tears streaming down her face.

In a video, a female voice was also heard in a background saying, “ she has completed her education and applied for job at incalculable places but still couldn’t get recruited anywhere.”


Today, COAS said in his statement via director general (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) , “Girls like Fajar are symbols of courage for us.”

The statement further reads that she would also given opportunity to pursue her further studies.

The general elections 2018 was held on July 25.
