Interior Ministry suspends Dar, wife Pakistani passports

ISLAMABAD: On Sunday, the interior ministry has suspended the passports of former finance minister Ishaq Dar and his wife, Newsone reported.


Dar, who is accused in corruption references was called an absconder over failing to appear before the Accountability Court, earlier this year.


Last week, the Supreme Court directed authorities to present Dar within 10 days.

With the latest sanctions Dar can not travel from London, where he is residing nowadays on medical grounds.

Dar, close aide of incarcerated Nawaz,  is facing corruption charges for possesing income beyond known source of income
