Judge’s car comes under attack in Dimaer, remains unhurt

DIAMER: On Sunday,  the vehicle of a district and sessions judge came under attack in Daryal area of Diamer, Gilgit-Baltistan, Newsone reported.


According to the police officials “Assailants fired at district and sessions judge Malik Inayat’s vehicle.”

However, the judge remained unhurt, the police added.

The Hudge while speaking to thelocal news channel informed that he was travelling alone, dismissing reports that family was accompanying him.

Judge Malik continued, “My car was fired at different spots over a distance of two kilometres. But instead of stopping my car, I kept driving really fast.”

Moreover, the Gilgit-Baltistan police have launched a search operation in the area to arrest the attackers.

Further, raids have been ongoing in the area in a bid to arrest suspects involved in the attack on over a dozen girls’ schools on Thursday night.

Gilgit-Baltistan police said 31 suspects have been arrested so far for involvement in attacking schools in the area.
