DUBAI: Lahore Qalandars edged out Karachi kings in super over to register their second consecutive win in the 23rd fixture of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Batting first Karachi Kings with the help of Babar Azam and Simmons posted 164- run target for Lahore Qalandars.
In a dramatic chase, the McCullum-led team levelled the score on the last delivery of the innings, taking the game into the tournament’s second super over.
The Game went for a Super over in which Lahore give 12 runs target to Karachi Kings to win a thriller.

In response Karachi Kings remains 4 runs short to win a super over match.
Babar Azam was the highest scorer from Karachi Kings as he made 61 runs (49) balls smashing a six and six fours. He was well supported by Lendl Simmons who made 55 runs (39) balls hitting a six and 8 fours.
Sohail Khan was the key bowler from Qalandars as he picked up three wickets. He finishes his spell with figures of 3 for 34 in four overs. Sunail Narine and Shaheen Shah Afridi picked up one wicket each.
Earlier, Qalandars won the toss and opted to field first against Karachi Kings, as the Qalandars are playing their ceremonial match after being out of the Pakistan Super League tournament.
However, Karachi Kings is looking to make to the top ranking team before going to the play offs.
