Mufti Usmani attack: CM Sindh announces treatment for visually impaired children of slain policeman

KARACHI: On Saturday,  Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced treatment for the visually impaired children of the policeman who lost his life while laying his life after foiling  an assassination attempt on religious scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani.


On Friday, Mufti Taqi Usmani’s two guards, one a Sindh police official and the other belonging to a private company, were killed as unidentified gunmen opened fire on two vehicles near Karachi’s NIPA Chowrangi. The vehicles, which belonged to Darul Uloom Korangi, were travelling together and were fired at by assailants on motorcycles.

Chief minister spoke with Mufti Taqi who told him his car was fired upon from all the four sides.
