National cricket team will donate Rs3.2m in dam fund, says Captain Sarfaraz

The National Cricket team Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed said on Monday , “We’re ready for the Asia Cup and will perform our best in the forthcoming tournament.”


Talking to media at Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore ahead of Asia Cup, Captain said ” National Team has been training hard for the tournament despite the hot weather.”

“The match against India is very crucial, I am trying my best to improve my batting skills. We will step on the pitch fully equipped against India,” sharing the devised strategy he further said, “First, we will try to score more than 300 runs, then we will try to defend the runs with our bowling skills”, he added.

Sarfraz also stressed that spinners will play a important role in the Asia Cup which is taking place in the United Arab Emirates from September 15 to September 28.

While talking about the funds for the construction of the Diamer-Bhasha Dam, he announced ” National team will donate Rs.3.2 million for the Dam.”

He also encouraged the citizens to step forward and donate for the Dam.
