Nawaz, Maryam expected to fly London tomorrow

LAHORE: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz are expected to fly London tomorrow to see ailing Kulsoom Nawaz.

According to sources the tickets have been purchased, as both Pakistan Muslim League(Nawaz) leaders facing corruption cases will spend their Eid in Britain’s capital.

It is pertinent to mention that the National Accountability Bureau(NAB) had earlier this week requested the interior ministry to place names of PML(N) supreme leader Nawaz, Maryam and Captain(R) Safdar in Exit Control List.

However, the matter pertaining to the placement of Nawaz’s name in ECL has been referred to interim federal cabinet headed by caretaker prime minister Nasir-ul-Mulk to decide over the aforementioned matter.

So far, no decision by the interim cabinet has been made yet related to bar Nawaz, family to travel abroad.
