ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday asserted that there will be no compromise over the national interest in his maiden visit at the foreign office here in Islamabad.
Furthermore, the premier directed officials to spread positive image of Pakistan world wide as he chaired a meeting at foreign office today issuing policy statement and guidelines.
Earlier, prime minister Imran Khan arrived at the foreign office where he was briefed about the foreign relations with different countries.
Foreign secretary Tehmina Janjua, foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi received the premier as he arrived at FO.
This was his first visit to FO after assuming PM office.
According to sources, the premier was briefed on the situation in occupied Kashmir as well as Pakistan’s relations with India,”
“The prime minister was also taken into confidence regarding relations with Afghanistan, China, Iran and the United States,” the sources further added.
The sources continued, “He was also briefed on the Kulbashan Jadhav case which will be heard in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in February.”
