Pakistan out of wood after PM Imran’s China visit: FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday briefed the media on Prime Minister Imran Khan-led contingent’s recent visit to China, claiming that the trip was “productive to the extent that we are out of the woods”.

Shortly after, a press release from the Ministry of Finance stated that a delegation comprising the federal secretaries of finance, foreign affairs, planning & development and commerce, along with the State Bank of Pakistan governor, will visit China during the current week to work out modalities of a balance of payments support deal.

The meeting is expected to take place in Beijing on November 9.
