Hafeez appeared before the PCB formed committee today.
On May 23rd, all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez submitted his reply to the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) show-cause notice for “criticising the International Cricket Council (ICC) rules related to reporting suspect bowling actions”.
In his reply, Hafeez, who was recently cleared for bowling after a third suspension over suspect action, said that he had not criticised the ICC and that his interview with international media outlet was presented out of context. “I only touched upon the technical aspects.
It is pertinent to mention that Hafeez has been cleared by the ICC after he was reported by match officials of having suspected bowling action in Sri Lanka series, last year.
Hafeez claimed that he could not understand why his bowling action was declared illegal when he had a 16 degree bend, but bowlers who have 25 or 30 degree bends are not being reported.
