Baldev Kumar is the prime accused in the murder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Sardar Soran Singh.

The MP Kumar submitted a petition in PHC seeking the court to pass orders pertaining to his oath taking ceremony in KPK assembly, which was obstructed in his last appearance as another member threw a shoe on Kumar when he came to KP assembly.

He was next on the list as a PTI candidate reserved for the seat  for minorities which was left vacant by MPA Sardar Soran Singh, as the latter was killed in 2016 in a targeted attack.

Kumar the main accused in Soran Singh’s murder and presently in jail, is facing trial by an anti-terrorism court in Peshawar.
