PTI’s boycott marred efforts for unanimous stance on Kashmir: PPP

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira Wednesday criticized Imran Khan for spoiling government’s efforts for a unanimous stance on Kashmir, in the face of Indian aggression across the Line of Control (LoC).

Qamar Zaman Kaira said Tehreek-i-Insaf sent its representative to the meeting of parliamentary parties’ head yesterday that was presided by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. “Until yesterday, Nawaz Sharif had the legality of a prime minister, but today he lost the moral authority according to the PTI chairman,” he questioned, adding that this makes no sense.

He said whether Imran Khan admitted or not, but Nawaz Sharif was an ‘elected prime minister’.

The PPP leader said that PTI’s boycott of the joint parliamentary session marred government’s efforts to come up with a unanimous stance on Kashmir.
