ISLAMABAD: Rain and hailstorm with snowfall and gusty winds on Thursday night resulted in the weather turning cold in the federal capital.
Rain in Jhang, Narowal, Chichawatni and adjoining areas also resulted in the temperature dropping.
Snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan caused landslides owing to which roads have been blocked. While there has been continuous snowfall for the last 36 hours in Hunza.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain with hail and winds is expected in scattered places across the province today.
Rain is also expected in Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat and Rawalpindi divisions, the PMD added.
Further, Islamabad, Kashmir and G-B are also expected to receive today along with showers at isolated places in Dera Ismail Khan, Sargodha, Lahore and Gujranwala.
However, dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
