WEB DESK: Eminem astonished his fans by releasing his new album late Thursday named “Kamikaze,” without any prior promotions or hints following the footsteps of his last freestyle rap, tongue-lashing President Donald Trump.
He unveiled his new album on Twitter with caption “Tried not 2 overthink this 1 … enjoy”
— Marshall Mathers (@Eminem) August 31, 2018
The rapper maintains his anti-Trump stance in the inaugural track claiming that “Agent Orange” sent the Secret Service to investigate him after “The Storm” to see if I really think of hurtin’ him / Or ask if I’m linked to terrorists”.
“’Cause Agent Orange just sent the Secret Service
To meet in person
To see if I really think of hurtin’ him
Or ask if I’m linked to terrorists
I said: “Only when it comes to ink and lyricists”
He also says of Trump: “I empathise with the people this evil serpent sold the dream to that he’s deserted.” while remembering negative reaction to his last album “Revival”
“But if I could go back, I’d at least reword it
And say I empathize with the people this evil serpent
sold the dream to that he’s deserted”
In his last freestyle rap called “The Storm”, he was seen taking on Trump and his supporters over racism, gun control, immigration, Twitter feud and more. He also dubbed Trump a “kamikaze that will probably cause a nuclear holocaust,”
Furthermore, he also drew a line for his fans: If you’re for Trump… you can’t be with him.
“And if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this,” he rapped.
The album comprised of 13 tracks features Joyner Lucas and Royce Da 5’9 and addresses topics such as the negative reactions to his last album Revival, the dissolution of D12 and his opinions on mumble rap.
