According to meteorological department chances for moon sighting on Thursday eve is less, but can’t be ruled out, as the moon was born last midnight.
There are slight chances for moon sighting today, however moon will be seen in the horizon if it appears on coastal sides of the country, said Met spokesperson
However, strong chances are that moon will not be sighted today, therefore Eid-ul-Fitr will be on Saturday, Met department added.
The government of Pakistan had already announced Eid holidays from tomorrow, June 15th, 2018.
Moreover, special train bus services have begun the special Eid operation carrying passengers to their home town to celebrate Eid with their loved ones.
This time around Pakistan Railways has exempted old citizens above the age of 65 from fares, and offered concession to the citizens.
