In an atmosphere of hate, bigotry and violence in the name of religion, nationalism, energetic singers from Karachi have come forward with a beautiful song addressing the God of Universe seeking His mercy.

Haider Ali Chao— a NAPA (National Academy Of Performing Arts) passed out and a music teacher in a duet song with Michelle Sebastian recently released a song by the name of “Meray Khuda” depicting the atrocities being committed across the world.

Especially the main focus of the song was the Indian Occupied Kashmir which is under siege for 112 days and there are reports of mass murder and marginalization of the people.

Nowadays music is being nurtured only in song covers,  hence the space for original ideas have been seen to be dried up. Haider and Michelle must be credited for bringing their own original song with a subtle message penned down by the poet Ali Arman Baltistani.

Moreover, both have been in the past were seen together performing in a special song that was released in the last Christmas “One God” trying to bring the billion of followers of Christianity and Islam together.

I wish them best of luck for future unique endeavors.
