Sindh Cabinet approves draft of madrassa registration bill

KARACHI: Sindh Cabinet which met under Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi on Saturday has accorded approval to the Sindh Maddaris Registration Bill.


According to the spokesman of Chief Minister House, a committee headed by Chief Minister, Advisor for Law Murtaza Wahab will review the bill within 15 days and after clearing the law it will be passed through Sindh Assembly. Important Ulema will also be taken on board in this regard.

The Sindh Cabinet also approved the Sindh Transparency and right to information bill. This will be sent to the committee concerned for further improvement in it. The cabinet also approved the amendment in voluntarily social welfare agency ordinance to monitor the performance of NGOs and welfare associations in the province and under taken the audit of their accounts.

The cabinet also approved the Sindh Arms Act bill which will be reviewed before finally passage from the Assembly.
