Sindh Home Minister directs LEAs to arrest Qadir Patel

KARACHI: Home Minister of Sindh, Sohail Anwar Siyal directed law enforcement agencies to arrest Abdul Qadir Patel immediately and present him before the court on Tuesday.


Abdul Qadir Patel managed to escape during the court ruling after his arrest warrants were issued.

“Sindh government does not support any kind of unruly activities and will take strict action against all those involved. Law shall take its course.”, said the minister.

Abdul Qadir Patel was also among the suspects named in the Dr Asim case in which the former petroleum minister was accused of providing medical treatment to terrorists and militants.

MQM’s Waseem Akhtar and Rauf Siddiqui as well as PSP’s Anees Qaimkhani are also suspects in the same case along with Patel.
