Slapping incident is a part of PTI culture: Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif while responding on the slapping incident, in which Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Naeemul Haque physically assaulted PML-N’s Daniyal Aziz on live television, remarked that situation is quite sad.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Quaid, who was speaking to journalists before the accountability court, used the incident to launch into a tirade against the rival party, adding that this is the culture of PTI, for which its chief Imran Khan is responsible.

“One by one all hidden agendas of PTI are being exposed,” he said

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s Spokesperson NaeemUl Haq on Tuesday slapped PML-N’s Daniyal Aziz for uttering indecent remarks during a current affairs talk show on a private news channel, Newsone reported.

PTI’s NaeemUl Haq lost his temper when Aziz, the minister for Privatisation, called Haq a ‘thief’ during the live show.

However, the show host Muneeb Farooq managed to cool down the tense situation following the fight.

Earlier in 2011, NaeemUl Haq threw a glass containing water at a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Jamil Somro on air.
