“You yourself violated the sanctity of the vote,” Tahir-ul-Qadri thunders

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Chairman Tehreek(PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri on Wednesday said that “You yourself violated the sanctity of the vote,” referring to the outburst that the Ex- prime minister Nawaz Sharif held at the 14 August independence day Media talk, where the ousted PM rhetorically stressed the need to uphold the “sanctity” of the vote.

Tahir -ul- Qadri said this in an address to a sit-in held in remembrance of those killed in the 2014 incident, in which 14 were killed and scores injured.

He said that he will be at the sit-in for as long as the protestors decide to participate, and announced that he will take out rallies in Faisalabad, Multan and Rawalpindi after Eid-ul-Azha.

Lashing at the Sharif brothers, Qadri said that their party introduced dirty and corrupt politics in the country, and claimed Pakistan Muslim Lague-Nawaz (PML-N) routinely purchases MPAs and ministries.
