KARACHI: Closing ceremony of Pakistan Super League has kicked off, as we are witnessing a historic moment in Pakistan, after cricket returns back to the city of light Karachi.
Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Najam Sethi while in his opening speech in the closing ceremony thanked all stake holders who made this huge event possible, especially Prime Minister, Chief Minister Sindh, Sindh Rangers, but said that the PSL belongs to the people of Pakistan.
Nearly 32,000 inhabitants of this great city will witness the showdown between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United as they compete for the Pakistan Super League 2018 title at National Stadium Karachi.
The gates to the venue were opened at 12 noon, and some spectators had shown up as early as 12:30pm on a sunny Sunday. The gates were to close at 5pm, however, the time was extended by two hours as visitors continued to arrive.
Heart throb Ali Zafar once again proved himself to be the best performer along with the ever green Strings, Shehzad Roy, gracious Aima Baig and veteran singer Farhan Saeed who all performed with their utmost skills and crowd awareness.
