Whole heartedly I will campaign for MQMP going into election: Farooq Sattar

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (Pakistan) leader Farooq Sattar said on Saturday that he expressed his wish before the party leaders that he does not want to to contest elections, but they forced him to take back the decision and accompany them in election campaign.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, he further stated that MQM(P) factions united to retain the already existing vote bank by working together.

“I assured Khaliq Maqbool Siddiqui that with whole heartedly I would carry out the election campaign for the party,” said Sattar.

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui is the convener of MQM(P) following the verdict of Islamabad High Court which deposed Sattar from leading the party.
