World community strongly condemns Quetta terrorist attack

ISLAMABAD: The United Nations family in Pakistan has strongly condemned the terrorist targeting recruits and security personnel in Quetta.


In a statement, United Nations Pakistan Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator Angela Kearney expressed her deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of all those who lost their lives or injured in the brutal terror attack.

China’s Foreign Office also condemned the terrorist attack.

In a statement from Beijing, a spokesperson for China’s Foreign Office said it strongly condemns violent acts of terrorism.

In the statement, Beijing said it would continue its support to Pakistan for its efforts for stability and its endeavors to protect its citizens.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has condemned the terrorist attack on Pakistan’s police academy in Quetta said terrorism is a common threat to the stability of the region and world.

Saudi Ambassador in Pakistan Abdullah Marzouk Al Zahrani has condemning the terrorist attack prayed for early recovery of the injured.

French Embassy has also commiserated with the bereaved families and expressed the resolve that the people of France fully support the people of Pakistan in their war against terrorism.

The United States has also condemned the attack on police training center in Quetta.

State Department spokesperson John Kirby said his country stands with Pakistan in this critical hour. He extended condolences to the relatives of dead and expressed sympathies with the injured.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his condolences to President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the wake of the tragic terrorist attack on a Police College in Quetta yesterday.

Russian President expressed his confidence that the plotters and executors of the barbaric crime will be brought to justice, and confirmed Russia’s readiness to further expand counter-terrorism cooperation with Pakistan.

He also expressed sincere sympathy to the families and loved ones of those killed in the attack and wished speedy recovery to those injured.
