Wrestler Mohamamd Inam wins first Gold Medal for Pakistan in Common Wealth Games

Pakistan has won first Gold Medal at the 2018 CommonWealth Games as Mohammad Inam champions in the 86kg wrestling competition.


With this win Pakistan secures fifth medal, others 4 being bronze.

Earlier on Saturday, Tayyab Raza won Bronze for the country in the men’s 125kg wrestling category.

29-year-old Inam also a gold medalist of Delhi Commonwealth Games in 2010, completely outclassed his opponent Melvin Bibo of Nigeria in the final of 86kg weight category.

The gold medalist  wrestler didn’t allow the opponent to earn a single point and won the contest 6-0 in just two rounds.
