Zaira is a Kashmir born 18 year old, belonging to a Muslim family of Zahid and Zarqa Wasim. She graduated her tenth grade from St. Paul’s International Academy in Sonwar, Srinagar. For a fact she is a bright young individual who scored 92 per cent in her board examinations.
Talking about a career which blossomed since she starred in the movie ‘Dangal’ (2016) which was a huge hit in the Bollywood cinema. She was nominated as National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress as well as Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
The next movie she starred in, Secret Superstar is where she yet again was nominated but now for the role of Filmfare Best Actress Award, followed by Critics Best Actress Award.
She had spilled her heart out on the ongoing questionable, yet controversial post on her official facebook account that spread all over the media.
In her post she put out her struggle she faced not just as a young individual or as a young girl perceived as a role model for other young girls especially her fellow Kashmiri youth, but also as a Muslim.
Raveena Tandon , slammed the junior star by tweeting: “Doesn’t matter if two film olds are ungrateful to the industry that have given them all. Just wish they’d exit gracefully and keep their regressive views to themselves.”
According to Tandon, she misunderstood the whole situation which resulted in her regressive response and soon she deleted her tweet.
Later, she tweeted her apology meanwhile stating her love for the industry.
I wish her luck and strengthAfter seeing this,I now regret my first immediate tweet after reading her statement.Maybe she was forced to write what was unacceptable to people like me who love films, cinema, the industry, that I was born into.Deleting the tweet that now sounds harsh. https://t.co/Okcg3NrCFa

Her statement claimed religious reasons throughout as her principle motivation to quit the industry as it was a lot of obstruction for her association with God and values.
However, there could be other reasons to consider regarding her post. Few of which are her being exhausted as any superstar with fame does, or harassment that she faced in one of her flights to Mumbai. Some claim and assume that this was a forced post from religious minorities that led her to quit the industry.
She faced multiple lashings by many people as bad as she started getting death threats.
However, this young talented rising star also had her supporters. Many people and Bollywood Stars stood for young Zaira, including Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar too lashed out at people who forced her to write the letter.
Shraddha Kapoor wrote, “I LOVED you & everything to do with Dangal. You worked hard it showed & I look up to you. Keep shining and dreaming.”
Anupam Kher, Sonu Nigam, Swara Bhaskar and Preity Zinta spoke for the actress too.
Aamir Khan too, took stand for her and asked people to be easy on he as she’s really young. “I have read Zaira’s statement and I can understand and imagine what led her to make that statement. Zaira I want you to know that we are all with you. The beauty is that bright, young, talented, hard-working, respectful, caring and courageous kids like you are a role model not only to kids in India but across the world. You certainly are a role model for me! May god bless you, love Aamir. PS, I appeal to everyone now to leave her alone and respect the fact that she is just a 16 year old girl trying her best to deal with life.”

Her voice spread as much as that she came under the notice of Mufti Ismail Menk, who is a great name in the world of Islamic scholars, and spoke for her goodwill and protection by the Almighty.
It’s bizarre that a young star’s choice had to be this contentious. It might be a lot for her to be in a position where she had to choose peace over her career, that too when it was on peak.
Moreover, she was not just a regular star, she is someone to whom various people are now looking up to.
The question is, are the rumors true regarding her false yet so forced post?
Or it really came through her and the industry really exhaust her out to such an extent?
Is this how young stars would be treated for their decisions in the future if they decide to spill their hearts out with great difficulty?
All such hoax and negativity which has spread in the air regarding numerous rumors one last good thing that Zaira has left for her fans is her third upcoming movie which is yet to be released called, ‘The Sky is Pink’, where she will be playing the role of Aisha Choudhry.
